If something isn’t right—whether it’s not quite the fit for your kitchen or doesn’t meet your standards—here’s a clear breakdown of how we handle returns and refunds. 2. Items We Can’t Accept

Certain items just can’t be returned or swapped out:

  • Used, altered, or customer-damaged goods
  • Items missing original packaging or tags
  • Personalized or custom-made pieces
  • Perishable items
  • Intimate or sanitary products for hygiene reasons
  • Digital downloads or content once it’s been accessed

3. When You Can Return

You’ve got 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. Here’s what we need to make it smooth:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition—just like how it arrived
  • Original packaging and all tags must be intact
  • A proof of purchase (like your order email or receipt) is required
  • Sale items and gift cards are final sale unless there’s a defect

4. Starting a Return

Getting the process moving is easy:

  • Email our support team at support@caraway.com—include your order number and a quick reason for the return
  • Once reviewed and approved, we’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and share shipping instructions
  • Pack the item securely in its original box, and put the RMA number right on the outside
  • Send it off to the address we provide

Don’t ship anything back without an RMA number—otherwise, we might not be able to process it.

5. Refund Timing

After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you about the status. If it’s approved, here’s what happens next:

  • Your refund goes back to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds usually show up in 5-10 business days—depends on your card issuer
  • PayPal refunds generally process within 3-5 business days
  • Original shipping isn’t refundable unless the issue was our mistake

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your cookware arrives damaged or defective—maybe a chip or a flaw—just let us know within 48 hours of delivery. Shoot an email to support@caraway.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We’ll arrange a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping on us.

7. Swapping for Something Else

Want a different color, size, or product? No problem—just return the original item using the steps above and place a new order for what you really want. It’s the fastest way to get things moving, and we’ll handle any price difference.

8. Return Shipping Costs

You’re responsible for return shipping unless it’s a defect or our error—like shipping the wrong item or damage during delivery. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method; we can’t cover items lost on the way back to us. For defective or incorrect orders, we’ll provide a prepaid label.

9. Refunds That Seem Late

If your refund doesn’t appear when expected, start by double-checking your bank or credit card statement. Sometimes banks take a bit longer to post. If you’ve done that and still nothing, contact us at support@caraway.com, and we’ll look into it.
